With a degree in Industrial Design from the prestigious College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan—home of the U.S. automotive industry—Noelle honed her craft and expanded her understanding of the intricate beauty and function of vehicles. Her career includes time at Ford Motor Company and other automotive-supporting firms, further embedding her in the heart of the industry.

Noelle’s art seeks to immortalize the unique relationship humans have with their vehicles. Whether it’s the chrome gleam of a classic car, the smell of horsehair-stuffed leather upholstery, or the sensation of speed captured on canvas, her work channels the soul of each subject. Her belief is simple yet profound: vehicles are more than machines—they are deeply personal extensions of ourselves, rich with memories and meaning.

Her creative technique varies as much as her inspiration. From detailed, realistic paintings using fine brushes to expansive collage pieces crafted from magazine strips and even car hoods, Noelle's versatility allows her to adapt to each project’s unique demands. Her works range from intimate

portraits of beloved pets to large-scale installations, including pieces housed at the Mustang Owners Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina, and at Universal Studios Orlando, where one of her creations is featured in the "Fast and Furious" ride.

Noelle is also deeply inspired by the challenge of capturing the personality of animals, believing their soul is most vividly expressed through their eyes. This passion for connection, whether with people, pets, or machines, defines her work.

She has created bespoke pieces for enthusiasts, collectors, and race teams, building personal relationships through commissioned projects that delve into the stories and memories of her subjects. For Noelle, every project is a journey into the intricate bond between the owner and the object of their affection, making her art as meaningful as it is beautiful.

Noelle Dumas continues to explore the dynamic interplay between design, speed, and human emotion, creating works that honor the past and celebrate the love affair we share with our vehicles—and occasionally, our furry companions.
